The Simple Math of Forever

This was a poem written for math class for Valentine's day by my cousin and I :

You're the solution to my equation
You took over my heart like an invasion
You've divided my heart into two
Yet my love still multiplies for you
We're equivalent to the perfect pair
This just does not seem fair
You're the sunshine of my life, however,
You don't understand the simple math of forever
