Valentine: From me, to you.

by Daniel J   Feb 14, 2007

We are in love, you and i,
our hearts like doves, flying free in the sky
(Not any ordinary doves.
Doves on steroids to make them fly faster,
such is our love).

I love your eyes,
which shine so bright,
like lamp-posts, In the night.

I love your hair,
So brown like a show horse's,
Or like mud after a thunderstorm so fair.

Your posture is so fine,
Like the eiffel tower,
Or like another lamp-post divine,
Which flickers on and off each hour.

And we shall be together,
We shall stick through everything,
Like a dung beetle sticks to poo.

Oh, we are in love, you and i,
Forever more, Because that's what love is like
(restricting and conditional, suffocating,
and stuff like that).
