Playing with dice

by Fredy   Feb 15, 2007

God and me know
you were what i loved the most.
There's no excuse to what i did
but here i am your forgiveness i bid
you could say what i had was greed.
Because i had a lot already
i knew the problem wasn't steady.
But i wanted more, i wasn't even bored.

you were the reason of my life and existence
and i just created distance.
between you and me,
there was a triangle i didn't want you to see,
because i knew it would affect you,
i was just a damn fool trying to hide the truth from you.
A job i didn't do so well,
She set up a trap and i like and idiot fell.

It's not entirely her fault it's mine too
when i realized what i was doing, i didn't know what else to do.
i rolled with the punches, but the one that was suffering was you.
and now that we are through:
i realized that i didn't just lost the love of my life,
i lost a friend just because i wanted to play with dice.

Wow. I loved this poem. it flowed wonderfully. the only thing that i would change was this line.

She set up a trap and i like and idiot fell.

did you mean, she set up a trap and like an idiot i fell? if yes, then that's how I interpreted it.

my favorite part was this line

you were the reason of my life and existence
    and i just created distance.

    just amazing!
