Growing older on your own

by Trinity   Feb 18, 2007

Some times you sit and wonder , where all those people went
All the friends you ever made, the best days that you spent
When friends were friends forever, no stupid pointless fights
When you talked about your plans on long hot summer nights
When trust was earned and seldom broke, and secrets could be shared
And someone was always next to you if you were feeling scared
But now that you are older and you've gone your separate ways
There's no friendly smile around to get you through your days
And you realise you've been alone for what seems oh so long
And shed a tear while thinking of why everything went wrong.
