Love's Death

by Crying_Angel   Feb 20, 2007

Is it the beginning or is it the end
How could you think of me as a simple friend?
I've been with you through every breath
You take away these feelings; make it our love's death
You think the end will only make me strong
Has it ever occurred to you that it's all wrong?

And it's the cruelty of this love which sets me aside
No place to seek out, only places to hide
I curl up in my shelter, no food, no drink
The only nourishment is the memories of which I silently think
Farewell my darling our love is gone
And this bittersweet taste leaves me to mourn

From ashes to ashes and our love to dust
The coldness of my heart now turned to rust
