Music

by David   Feb 25, 2007

And the lonely player
Writes his aching heart
To tell his sad song
How he fell apart

From the world he loves
Also hates
He hides away
From his friends and mates

Yes the melody
That brings out his best
His music seems
To calm the rest

The simple, soft tone
That makes you smile
Lets you be yourself
If only, for a little while

The shaping of his piece
Let the notes sing please
His beautiful sound
The magic melody

Yet he loves the music
He loves the sound
Where he is in control
Where he can be found

And he loves the melody
It brings out his best
Its his own music
That sings, to the rest

The best music one could hear is the pure song that their heart sings.

Good imagery. Instead of painting a picture, it has you imagine a soft sweet melody. Music to my ears! Good job!
