I know that i have hurt you
and i am sorry
i can feel you in my thoughts
and i don't want you there
because this guilt i feel inside
is more than i can bear

i know that you loved me
and i know you still do
i feel guilty for what i did to you
but i had no other choice
you told me that you loved me
but my response had no voice

i think that one day
you and me will be together
when we both grow older and wiser
and we finally know who we are
and never fear my love
this day is not far
