Overpowering love

by Wishing4perfect   Mar 3, 2007

Speak of the words your mother once said.
as i lay here and think up in my bed.
there's no misery, no penalty for this i see.
only a love as true as this can be.

mother once said he'll be the one to break your heart.
but i never onced believed her, from the very start.
watch out for the ones who will steal your heart
take it, break it, till you fall apart.

he'll be the one you'll come running to.
and the only one he wants is you.
its an addiction you can't overcome.
as if your heart to him has become numb.

love is an overpowering deal
to which everyone must feel.
its the extent to which one will love,
a love that won't make you pray to above.

only the minutes that pass by
will lead to an knot you can untie.
and if you're true to your heart
you'll find the one, and you can't be apart.
