Dominated Dominatrix

by Renee   Mar 3, 2007

You see her as the strong, confidant dominatrix,
The one who doesn't give a sh*t.
But that's all that she gives...
she just cares too much to show it.
Because behind closed doors, she's the one being dominated.
Behind radiant brown eyes...she's jaded.
She's faded away,
many people try to drag her back,
but she can't trust anyone.
And how can you blame her?
When the one person who's supposed to show unconditional love annihilates her.
You have to understand;
there's a reason she can't keep her feet on dry land.
When your head is in the clouds, pain isn't in the plan.
We all experience some form of hurt; it's part of life.
But when your life becomes the pain...
it's hard to ever feel good again.

There's a place deep within herself, whose edge she may sit and dream.

-*-I wrote this for and about my girlfriend. She's pushing everyone away, wants us to take a break and won't even talk to her best friend. She won't say what's wrong but we all have an idea of what's going on. I just want her to know I'm there for her, even if her family isn't.
