YOU WERE THERE

When i was lost and couldn't find my way you were there
when my sister choose the world over the church you were there
when my dad passed away and i couldn't bare lord you were there...
sometimes i get tired and weak sad and mad and i feel that no one cares
and once upon a time i thought life just
wasn't fair
but lord you know when i was little every time
i cried to you you dried my eyes
falling on my knee and i can feel your arms wrapped around me
i know i mess up by the things i do
but when i cant trust in man i know i can count on you

and most of all thank you for being by my side
