I see your face when I close my eyes
In the sound of the wind i still hear your voice
Twisted up side down in your memories
Holding on to you has always been my choice

Nothing has been harder than leaving you behind
Every single step away from you took eternity
Games of illusions were played by my mind
Reflection of your face shadowed my sanity

Every tear fantasized of falling on your hands
Somehow reality washed my wishes away
Blowing whispers in the air for someone to understand
Realizing the difference between present and yesterday

We danced among the stars and we sang a heavenly tune
In the essence of who you are you took me to the moon
Just a taste of your lips and your love made me whole
With a yearning embrace that caressed my soul

As I recall the good times I won't express any sorrow
I''ll keep you in my heart for there is hope for tomorrow
If it's destined to walk away then that's what it will be
One thing I assure, my love will last for eternity
