Its mother's day soon
And it's going to be hard
Cos there's no one to share
This love in my heart

You have a new family
Who'll praise you that day
And show you they love you
With a flower bouquet

If I try to think back
I remember a time
When it used to be me
With a cute card design

I can't help but wonder
If you'll pick up the phone
Cos last time I rang you
Nobody was home

But enough of the pity
I just wanted to say
Even though we don't talk
Happy mother's day ©

    i imagine this must have been a hard write so well done!
    I cant imagine what it would be like to be in that situation so i suppose im very lucky. Just remember you are strong and there are those around you that care for you. Excellent poem.
