Grass

by David   Mar 15, 2007

I lay to rest on the cool grass
And the leaves shade my face
The time is non-existent
Life still has beauty, has untold grace

The shades of colouring
So subtle and precise in saying
The greenery of leaves and grass
Are going nowhere, silently swaying

The highlight of grass
So many shades of green
An untold story within
Who nobody has ever seen

The coolness of the grass
Is like a running stream
So calm and collected
Well thats the way it seem

The darkness of the grass though
Buried underneath in spite
Is hiding and waiting for its chance
To strike in midday light!

Yes the traits of grass
Have many stories to tell
The past, the present, the future
Is not to be told now as well...

This was so beautiful, your poems have so much colour, and are so relaxing to read, cause you can see and feel them.
