God Saved Me

by suzanne   Mar 17, 2007

I dream of many sleepless nights
To find that I am paralyzed
Within the dread of second sight
I cannot breathe for fright

I lean on many shoulder blades
To hear that I am just a waste
I yearn for night to take away
The solid hate, the putrid pain
The morning dusk it shall awake
The devils clones to seal my fate
I cannot break I have to fight
Untill the dead of night

The half-moon glow upon the trees
My legs go weak below the knees
My head spins round and I can’t see
The torture which they do to me

The slow sunrise atop the hill
I am alive, they failed to kill
I stand and look and then I see
A glowing sky, god saved me
