Finland

by suzanne   Mar 17, 2007

A picture’s worth a thousand words
Though words cannot describe
The beauty that I see herein
The love before my eyes

A bench upon a river bank
To watch as ducks float by
Reflections on the waters coat
The beauty of the sky

The ice shall keep the water sealed
But still ducks try to skate
The snow that covers all the fields
As winter celebrates

The beauty of this country’s lands
The beauty of the trees
The beauty of the plants and fields
How Finland likes to please
