Too Young

She was too pretty to be
But that was too much for God to see
She was too young to be taken
Now too late to be awaken

She was a sweet from the start
And she will love on in our hearts
Though she's in a better place
With no more hardships to face

She was friends with everyone
Being with her was always so much fun
But God took her away
For here on earth she could no longer stay

Her cancer spread so fast
Now that's just apart of the past
Heaven is her new home
But with God there too she's not alone

She was too pretty to be
But that was too much for God to see
She was too young to be taken
Now too late to be awaken

Lindsay, we all loved you so
And we'll see you in Heaven when it's our turn to go

My cousin Lindsay died from malignant melinoma and i wrote this poem for her, I love you Lindsay

    Your poem, however, was beautifully written. It was calm and sad, but heart warming that you say shes in a better place and not really alone.

    Very beautiful poem and very touching.. Nice flow and emotion is strong.
