It only made me smile

Our friendship took a turn
And I began to see
How different life was

It gave me a reason to come in
My days were no longer grim

Through a couple of days
Messages turned into calls
Calls turned into feelings
And adding pictures to the walls

Feelings turned into love
And love is where I stay
For now I love my boyfriend
And hope he never goes away

What started as a match
Has slowly changed my outlook on life
Has given me a reason to cheat death
And possibly, in nine years, become a wife

I look to the future
But live for today
And know that with him
I will never stray

For no one can make me
Laugh like he does
I finally found the guy
I never thought there was
