Every kiss begins to fade

by BloodScars   Mar 20, 2007

Sometimes I hate it how our mind wonders
How our thoughts wont disappear
How we cant choose who we like love or hate.
how each touch of something new sparks a dream of something old.

Sometimes I hate when the pain won’t go away
How we get our hearts shattered just to love with all the little pieces
How after every breath wasted on something old is a regret to something new.
Or how you always seem to love the wrong person

Sometimes I hate it when we are so naive
How when your young you don’t understand
How every hate followed by a love is okay
How you know its oh so wrong but hope keeps it as oh so right.

Sometimes I hate it when tragedy strikes good people
How we never seem to heal
As strength in one leaves another weak
It is
How every flower takes forever to bloom
How kisses never last
Or How memories never fade.

It seems like this is more of a stroy than a poem, but most of my poems tend to be stories or experiances in my life as well so I love it! I'm enjoying the fact that it is leaning more towards teaching a lesson and is a topic that almost everyone can relate to because of the variety between stanzas. Only thing I may change is the "like" your used before love in the first stanza, It just clashes with the line slightly and sounds a little better without it. Other than that and even with that it is a good read and I really enjoyed it! 5/5! =) keep up the good work!
