Russian Roulette

Russian Roulette

I met this girl so long ago
this girl always smiled so bright
and when it was my time to go
she tried to hold me tight

I hope it lasts forever
and not just one simple night
i want us to be together
but my mind is so in fright

Shes the bullet in the game i play
the game i play with friends
the gun thats pointed at my chest
this game will never end.

I drink all day i drink all night
to forget the pains, is that so right?
i leave the house, and wander town
to find some kid, to fight all night

To forget my worries
to forget my pains
to make him bleed
i am not sane?

This girl hurt me
the other did not
but I'm filled with rage
and all i have forgot

The beer does not please my pain
the whiskey does not heal my wound
am i truly, going insane?
her voice, repeats in my head, like a deadly sound

This game of roulette
my turn has arrived
time to forget
ill take a dive

I point the gun at my head
and engrave her name in the bullet
i pull the trigger, to find myself dead
and now, i finally forget.

III think that this poems really good. I thought it was all rush and roulette...Not russian roulette..Maybe I'm wrong though ahaha.

  • Mmm, it wasn't your best, but it was not bad at all, continue writing, your messages in your poems, are REALLY good, you just sometimes don't write them accordingly, but being only 14, you have a ways to go. =)

I'm a little harsh and opinionated, but that's how it is, don't take too much offense. I don't dig rhyming poems, too easy. Another thing, your beat is off. Some lines I'm taking short breaths, other force me to exhale long and take alot of air, it's kind of inconsistant and makes the poem harder to understand.
