A Pain Deep Within

by Italian Stallion   Mar 28, 2007

A pain deep within
Moving from head to toe
That's how I feel
Upon any given day

Individuals treating others
In a unmannerly way
Individuals battering others
In a physical and emotional way

When will we as a whole
Learn to love
And not betray
Or even hate?

Everyday there's someone
Worse off than you
So don't go complaining
About how bad your day was

People get beaten
People get raped
People get killed
People lose everything they own

Don't judge until
You know the person
Don't judge
"A book by it's cover"

Everyday I see someone worse off
I feel ripped apart inside myself
All my complaints about life
Seem to just vanish compared to these individuals

Well written :D. Then again, I love all your poems :S. It's so true, about how I see people worse off than me, but I complain about insignificant things. I'm not very good at writing comments, but I mean it when I say 5/5. Good job :D

This poem is really great, the message truly made me reflect. I'm reminded by my mother always not to complain, to be happy with what I have.. I should really listen to her lol
    Nice job,
by the way, I'm Italian also :) in case you are

  • Dang...you so stinkin deep...(in a good way)....i loved this one too...that's one of the few ways to make yourself feel better is to think about how your life is so much better than the ones who suffer so much...great work...
