At Romance's End

by elli_unleashed   Apr 5, 2007

When the petals have fallen from the blood rose,
When the hearts of Romeo and Juliet become glass,
The tide of the oceans turns dark and shadowed,
When the lovers of passion deaths come to pass,
The Earth's elements forced to the fires of hell,
When the last alliances of man are broken,
How long till the Angel's tears rain from heaven,
Till finally the Earth is controlled by man's sin,
And the last love is lost in the dark abyss of night,
When will we realize that not only do our lives end,
Or the that destiny is not a dream, it is our lost reality,
Because at romance's end, there will no longer be a lover to defend.
