His skill with twisting words
With his fancy verbs

Strangle her throat
With his clenching hands
Stealing his breath
Which is all she has left

Burn her eyes
With his cigarette lighter
Blinding her forever
So she cannot see

Pierce her hands
Straight on through
So that she cant hold
Onto what he sold

Slice her brain
So she cant remember
Their happy times together
Despite the weather

Break her legs
Which help her run
So she can bring him back
His favorite little snack

As an angel of the night
She shall not frown
But find a reason
To love what she has already found.
