Hold On

by Cayce Mitchell   Apr 20, 2007

We are told to hold on tight
Never let go, put up a good fight
But how much can we take, when life always fails
And all the ones we love, leave the painted trail
How many nights alone we cry
hold on tight and give life a try
We try so hard, we can try no more
After all we gave, we feel so sore
Hold on tight, life will take us for a ride
The demons inside, We got swept up by life's tide
We cry and the demons laugh
I guess god wanted us to feel his wrath
But still they tell us to hold on tight
But we can't no more
We have no more fight
