Simple Life

I am not a poet,
Who writes a poem.
I am not a composer,
Who can write a song.

I am not a philosopher,
Who speaks with truth.
Nor a scientist,
Who understands phenomenon.

I am neither an engineer,
Who can build a bridge.
Nor a doctor,
Who can cure the sick.

A simple man of God,
Who never breaks a word.
Yet contented and happy,
In simple thing I do.

    The whole peom is pretty awesome hun
    there really isnt a negative thing i could say about this one...
    i love it, like i love how you can like instead of describe what it is, describe what its not.. you know what i mean??.. i thought that was really neat and original

    These lines are awesome. I would like you to make the "thing" plural if you dont mind. No body is perfect and all cant be a doctor or a scientist. In the light of this poem you have well proven this truth.

    Though this is an old piece, it flowed very well and the content in it is superb despite of the limited words. :)

    Wow...really sweet..short,simple very wekll said dear..but lol..."I m not a poet"is not true..you r sure a great writer...this poem itself is a perfect example for your talent..i liked the way this one flowed...it had so much of meaning said with simplicity...very good write!
