Playground

Tangled
And Lying
Broken
And lost

Children at play
Unsure of their hands
Careless and bleeding

Torn
Wings
Fly with me
Fly with me

Twisted words
Upon
Their tongues

Dancing
On Pain
Passing the pleasure

Broken
Bleeding
Seeing
Blind
Choking on words
That are
Mine

Don't play fool
And don't play folly
Don't be the child
Who falls
With a crash

A snap
An echo
With screams to follow
Unsure of your steps

Don't be that
Ignorant
And New
Person taking first breaths

Not heeding the caution
A warning
Screamed
Don't be the child
Reflection of me

Of then
Of
Now
And so to be lost

Endless questions
No answers
On our broken
Playground

Swings rusted
Touching dirt
Slides
Bent
Broken
Childish dreams
Lay forgotten
Hurt

Playground of shattered
Glass
Along
Cracked
Sidewalk

Your place of
Reprieve
A resting place
Of the
Damned

Of
Me

Ignorant
Innocent
And pure

Where swings
Lent
The sky

And in rhymes you could hear
Promises
Of learning
"Ring around
The rosy
We all fall down"
Falling, falling
To dry ground

Fly with me to
My playground
Broken

Tears staining
Dust
And blood
Staining
Sand
Once forgotten
Here I am

Not to play the
Child
So let's play

Not this
Imaginary
Painful
Pathetic
Little game

Childhood promise
Growing anew

The ignorant fall
Wings tattered
Children's yet grown

I lend you
Knowledge
Wings
The sky

Fly with me
Fly with me

This was good because it changed a soft of subject into one of disturbance and taboo, it was very well layed out and i feel the language couldnt have been used better.

please comment on 'The bodys' rain' thanx xxx alex xxx
