you took me out of the darkness
and brought me into your light
you clothed my nakedness
and gave me wings to fly

just when i thought i'd died
you came out of nowhere
you didn't pass me by
or give me a cold stare

your love took over me
and made me new again
i had new eyes to see
from a heart that knew no sin

you took my broken heart
worn from years years of pain
you gave me a new start
by letting me fly again

and now i soar above
all the things that held me down
never will i forget your love
i'll tell the world renown.

    I can wholly relate to this whole poem, but that stanza especially.
    It takes a while to piece a broken heart back together, but when it's whole again, it's a wonderful feeling.
