Friends

You were my friend, you were always there
You helped me through some hard times and you always cared.
If I never knew you I would be a shy, scared little girl.
But because of you I am that confident person I am now.
We were friends since 4th grade, and both loved nsync
You were sitting in the yard across the street
And I went over to visit my uncle. You came over to say hello
And from then on we were inseparable.
Then I moved and we lost contact. It still hurts for you were my best friend.
We still talked for about a year then after that we sort of just fell apart.
I would love it if we hung out. It would make me happy again
You were my best friend we talked about everything.

    I hate the thought of lost friendships and friends who move away. especially if that one person made ur life so much more liveable. great work, love the flow and all.

    I can relate to this poem. I know how it feels to lose someone that you once called your best friend. My best friend since 7th grade moved to another city to go to college and she kinda got mixed up in the wrong crown I dont hang out with her that much anymore but we have talked and we know that we will be friends for a life time. I hope you find your friend again. good poem.

    This is a very heartfelt poem. I know you said to not comment on the flow, but this one isn't very flowy and kind of hard to read but the message behind it is good. That you miss your friend and you want to hand out. Hopefully you get to see your friend again.

    Awww.. nicee poem.. the rhyme scheme was a little off but that's ok. I still enjoyed it.. and hell yeaa to nsync!.they were the best haha... but anyway great poem.. you have a nice style of writing.. keep it up =]
