Wonderful poem. You can feel the love in this piece...yet also a sadness....Excellent job by you both.

Eyes that shine like Stars in the night,
Beauty that glistens bringing the brightest light.
A heart that glows giving me a drop of faith,
A soul that blinds me, As I gaze into her face.

Loved this stanza. The imgery is great.

I normally don't read collabs,
but I'm glad that I read this one.
Two great poets coming together,
and it turned out wonderful.
I also normally don't like reading love poems,
but this one wasn't like most I've read.
I really liked how each ending idea,
was carried on into the next stanza,
so it really flowed together and never skipped
around from idea to idea.

This is rather delightful to read. Although it is on the bitter subject of lost love, it never fails to enchant me by its breathtaking descriptions. It's quite charming, I dare say. However, capitalizing the first letters of some words (e.g. Stars, As, Sunset and Night) is unnecessary, I suppose, unless it was intentional. Other than that, it's a beautiful well-penned love poem on the whole. Well done, both of you, upon writing such a fascinating poem. Love, Debbie Cakes!

That was beautiful yet it had a touch of sadness in it too. The flow was flawless throughout the poem & the imagery was so vivid.
