LADY OF ROYALTY

by Sweet Aroma   May 11, 2007

I am a lady of royalty.
For you can not see my gold crown
Which is placed upon my head with all gentleness by my king
Embedded with a ruby surrounded by six pearls
For I am queen and I rule my throne with an iron fist
Polishing my authority throughout my kingdom
Placed high on a pedestal for everyone to worship
And to be admired by my emperor
For I am his empress and I shall be protected
Guarded and kept away by all who cherish me
Working hard to maintain my empire
And through all struggles and tribulations, I roam
Me and my king of the jungle; my lion
For when he can not, I am his roar
His lioness, there to provide and survive when he can not
To endure the pain that he has undergo
Surrender to my all-mightiness and the power that I hold
For I am Hatshepsut; first lady of pharaohs
Ruling like no man has ever ruled before
Guiding my people, for I have their trust at heart
Side by side with my Egyptian king
Bow down to my presence and notice a lady of royalty
