The Dad i never Had

I know how everyone
always compares there
dads to other dads.
Well i cant do that
with the dad i never had.
It suks not havin
a father figure
there for you.
Or u do have
a father figure
its just the
only way
you talk to him
is over the fone.
I wish i knew
how to explain myself
to him or to everyone
else at that matter.
I just wish that
that father figure
would be here
for me to care
to love n to
know what i go threw.
Instead of pickin fights
with my mother.
Instead talk to her
let her kno ur here
for her even though
ur not ready to
just have a conversation
with her.
I know its hard to sit there
n have her talk bout us kids
n how we have grown up
so much i bet ur hurtin
b/c you were there when
we were little but now
that were older u dont
realli know us cause u
havent been there
