She Just Wanted to Leave

by lydia   May 12, 2007

Shes tugging on her sleeves,
And pulling down her shirt.
She really wants to leave,
Because she doesnt want to get hurt.

He tries to grab her hand,
But she just pulls away.
He just doesnt understand,
That she doesnt want to stay.

She starts to step out his door,
But he just pulls her back in.
She says her heart is tore,
From the lies he told that are sins.

He throws her down,
She begged and pleaded.
As she lies on the ground,
Help is all that she needed.

He yells at her,
With hatred in his voice.
Because he wants to know for sure,
About her choice.

She tries to get up,
But he forces her back down.
Hes really abrupt,
About pushing her back to the ground.

She starts to scream,
Hoping someone would hear her.
She lets out her steam,
But theres not a stir.

He ties her up with rope,
Saying that shes never leaving.
Shes lost all hope,
And yet still not grieving.

Knowing she is going to die,
She knew she should of gone.
Because of all of his lies,
Everything went wrong.

She tries to get away,
But hes just too strong.
She doesnt want to stay.
But he thinks shes wrong.

For her, this is the end of the world,
No one really cared.
About a helpless little girl,
Whose secrets never shared.

Struggling to break free,
He pulls out a knife.
She is well aware that he,
Can end her life.

She just wanted to leave,
But shell lie there forever.
Because he wont grieve,
Not now, not never.

No one knows where,
Her dead body lies.
Because people cant bare,
To watch another life go by.

Only the man,
Who had killed her that night.
He ran and ran,
Because of his fright.

The cops came by,
Because no one was at the house.
No one would come to the door to say hi,
Not even a mouse.

They searched it high,
Until they got to the basement.
Then they stood by,
In complete and total amazement.

Looking at her dead body with shock,
Their jaws had dropped.
Around her neck was a gold lock,
That made them all stop.

Inside it contained a note,
Explaining why shes here.
The words are that he wrote,
And why hes not near.

He had run away,
To a far off place.
He wasnt there to stay,
Because his fears he could not face.

She just wanted to leave,
But he wouldnt let go away.
He tugged on her sleeve,
Saying please! Oh please wont you stay!

Shell lie there forever,
Shes already died.
Shell lie there forever,
Her dead remains lie.
