Scared...

You know that feeling that you get when you start talking to someone new,
Your excited, but scared that they will hurt you...

You start looking for things wrong with them because they might be like all the rest,
Because you want that perfect someone, you want only the very best...

You start thinking about your past and all thats been done,
You wanna go back and fix your mistakes but then you wouldn't have the mistakes that you learned from...

Because now you know what to do and what you don't,
You tell your friends you'll get over them, but you know you really wont...

They hurt you so bad so now its hard for you to let someone new in,
That someone tries so hard, but you know they will never win...

Because your scared....

You don't want your heart broken again by another,
You don't want a friend or a pimp you want a lover...

Someone to be there for you and to hold you tight,
Someone to make you feel like everything is alright...

But your scared...

But here is my question for you,
How are you going to find someone to love you, when thats exactly what you wont let them do...?
