I Used To Be That Girl

I used to be the girl that shined so bright;
Smiled truely and everything was right.
I used to write so much about true love,
And believed that it was a gift from above.

I used to be the girl that was so silly;
Joking around, loving my life sencierely.
I used to laugh at anything and everything;
Always thought being happy was something.

I used to be the girl that always flied,
Never cared if you loved me or lied.
I used to be happy with being me:
Loving everything and what I used to be.

I used to be the girl who loved friends;
They were the ones I would defend.
I used to be the one to make the fun,
Laugh and play right under the sun.

Suddenly all that changed in a sec;
It was like I fell right off the deck.
Everything that was right, went wrong;
I forgot the melody to the only song.

My heart feels like it never loved a soul,
Like I slipped into this deep deep hole;
And so dark you can't see anything at all.
I can't recall that life-changing fall.

I'm left with only memories of yesterday;
Lost track of everything and went astray.
My last memories of happiness I wish to replay,
And I hope my fall in this hole was only a delay.
