Dried Rose

How long will you keep
A damaged rose to your left
How long will you let
Its color fall so deep
For this flower, though plain but sweet
Needs your embrace
Just as the moon needs the sun
To show its light to anyone
Or as the roots need the rain
So its leaves never be faint
