Happy fathers day dad ,
you deserve to have a special one.
I'm so glad to have a dad like you ,
your one in a million when all said and done.

The card I have choosen for you ,
not many words but it says it all.
My hero is what you are ,
your always there when I fall.

You may not be one for cuddles ,
and good at saying 'I love you'.
But I know your always there for me ,
when things are bad you'll help me through.

There are times I've let you down ,
caused you worry and upset in the past.
I'm lucky to have a dad like you ,
that I now do realise at long last.

So with fathers day almost here ,
heres hoping you have a happy day.
