A Declaration of Love

I want to make this promise,
To you here and now,
This is my declaration,
and to you my solemn vow,

I want to share my life with you,
Every triumph and success,
For nothing you could say or do
Could make me love you any less,

I love just being with you
and I need you in my life
But I don't want cakes or babies,
Or to ever be your wife,

I'll tell you I love you everyday,
Share with you everything,
Surely that means much more,
Than any wedding ring,

I'll never let another soul,
into my heart, nor near,
For my heart belongs to one,
And that is you my dear,

You are my life, my love, my friend,
My soulmate, yes it's true,
And no matter what may pass,
My heart belongs to you.
