Somewhere by Tomorrow

Somewhere by Tomorrow (Graduation)
by Kristi H.

As tomorrow takes its toll,
Sit down and shed some tears,
Let the good times roll,
Face up to all your fears.

Hold on to things that last,
Let go of things that won't,
The past is in the past,
And the future's promised hope.

Smile when clouds are gray,
Laugh when skies are bleak,
I wish we all could stay,
But without change, we'd be weak.

Sometimes things are different,
Sometimes things must change,
Although we do not wish it,
Some things must go away.

I know I'll miss you so much,
At most when we're apart,
But you will always be loved,
Because you're in my heart.

You will see me one day,
And I will see you too,
Even if we're old and gray,
And I don't remember you.

Will you tell me goodbye,
Will you help me find my way,
Will you laugh through everyones' cries,
And help cherish the day?

Goodbye for now, I'll miss you,
We have been through so much,
Sometimes I still have no clue,
If we'll really keep in touch.

Forgive me when I ask this,
But I want to take this chance,
Will you miss me past tomorrow,
Will you know me at a glance?

I'll try hard to remember,
Every moment spent with you,
Memories last forever;
Don't forget - the future, too.

    Hey rainy,
I know its been a long since i commented, but i've been soooo busy, and omgosh i cannot believe your graduating!!! Don't worry, a whole new world is going to open up for you- and dont worry, people will remember youuu. And keep in touch, cuz i know how hard it is, and you'll probably have alot of questions that I could help you with. Ayways, i love this poem, you expressed how i felt 3 years ago even better than i ever could! Its so bitter-sweet. Well rainy, love ya, write me soon:)
