Alone and lost

I cried myself to sleep last night,
I went out without a fight

The lights around me grew gray and dreary
And me the same grew weary

My face became wet with tears
And back came all me fears

People who I thought were my friends
Left me alone, and in no will my heart mend

I felt left elsewhere
Forgotten and stripped bear

Of all the things that meant the most
In no way will they come back and boast

Why I thought I could ever change
Its not one thought that was strange

The world has left me
Alone and lost...
