For a poet

A poets dreams are heard by the wind
tears of pain stream from the face
out of the soul
and out of your embrace

a poets words come out of the heart
and into the ears
of unsuspecting people
and linger for years
reminding us of life's truest feeling
the beauty of words
and a new way of dealing

a poets mind
is the most confusing place to be
undescribable sites
a very fearful plea

a poets life
is so adventurous and unplain
even if its just the heart
life for a poet is just not sane

a poet must hold onto something
even if its just them
pain, love, anything at all
one thing in their life must be a precious gem

    What a great opening line, it really grabbed my attention.

    Great job yet again, I really love the "a poets mind is the most confusing place to be indescribable sites a very fearful plea"

    Reading through the rest of the poem, I like the repeated words A POETS. It seemed to reiterate the meaning.

    Overall, the flow was great and the meaning was pretty cool.

    Keep up the great work.

    This is a very true poem...i think all poets can agree to this...although in some parts the rhyming seems a little forced to me..but thats just what i think..overall very good poem.
