Macabre.x.

Blinded by the mystic falls, I stare blankly at the splashing drops.

Suddenly, a darkness befalls the glistening water; a moon so ravishingly shining its light upon the clear lake.

Stars gleam with pride, twinkling with their every might to be known; to be remembered.

My feet shudder at the cold breeze; everything seems to have frozen still.

My own heat I depend upon, clutching to every being of my rushing stream of blood.

My heart pounds its monotonous beat within my head; my pale skin camouflages that of the bluest ocean.

Icicles form through every strand of my hair, slowly letting the frozen water melt at the heat of my scalp.

I clutch my knees; closing my tiresome eyes, I let the salt flow down my cheeks.

Taking my last misty breath, I fall.

Nevertheless, I become a lifeless corpse; lost in a frozen memory.
