My heart is broken (if i had one)

Blood runs down my chin, warm and sweat. i hear your screams and i miss your dreams but i can not take away the past. your eyes are cold now, death has taken you. my heart is broken. no dreams of mine can't ever come true. some nights i sit and think of what i could have been. without this burden i have to bear. every night is the same old thing. the same song i have to sing. i wish i could take it away. live life in the sun's rays. but i know i can't. i know I'll never live a normal life. my tears are cold as they run down my pale cheeks and hit the floor. the sound fills my ears. and echoes forever more. I'm stuck like a monster in a cage. i can not get out. i can never get away.
