Let's Drive Into The Sunset [Rondeau]

by BECCA lessTHANthree   Jun 22, 2007

Lets drive into the sunset, where life is free,
Where time will be endless for just you and me,
Where moments are spent, without a single care,
And a life unlike this one, just can't compare.
........So come and I'll show you what our life can be.

I'll open your eyes to a life hard to see,
Where love's in abundance for you and for me,
Together our lives, we'll so happily share,
........Lets drive into the sunset.

We'll live everyday so innocent and free,
Where time will be endless for just you and me,
So lets drive together, and I'll lead you where,
The moments are spent without one single care,
I'll show the world I've made for you and me,
........Lets drive into the sunset.

***A Rondeau is a french form, 15 lines long, consisting of three stanzas: a quintet, a quatrain, and a sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbaR

Again another fine write. As always I must make a critique..I would substitute "a" for the word "one"(one=single)
