Tears and Stars

The amount of tears that I have cried
Even the ones that I try to hide
Are because of you and your stupid pride!
Realizing your fate and good health was denied
So admit to the world that's why you died

Angry and bitter at what you've done
Now knowing my pain has only begun
Damn you for saying that we all won!

Sorry, my love, for being mean and unfair
The stars remind me that you'll always still care
And let me make this my last prayer
Rejoicing will surely be in the air
So long as you realize, I'll soon be there!

    This was a very good poem Lyndsy. I loved your choice of words and how neatly organized your poem is.. it had a lot of emotion in it. Something confused me though, the girl in this poem went from hating his guts to knowing he cares and that she loves him so much. Non the less, it was a beautiful poem!     We all die, some people take their own life. One can't always make their way in sadness. And it doesn't matter if others try and help, you have to decide to fight. Love can be the best thing on this earth, but I find that its the biggest reason we feel pain.
