Keep on hoping to find him

I've been hurt so many times
and don't believe in love the way I did
but I still keep on hoping
that someday love will last.

Everytime I've let myself fall
I've been broken and my dreams were shattered.
I just walk and pick up the pieces of myself
and try to hold myself together.

All I want is to be loved and safe
and have someone hold me tightly,
love me the way I already am
and never want to hurt me.

I don't see whats so wrong with wanting a man
that would rather die then hurt me,
someone that I can be myself with
without ever having to worry.

I know that I'm just dreaming him up
but wouldn't that be great?

    Poem is really good.
    Everytime I've let myself fall

    I know that I'm just dreaming him up
    but wouldn't that be great?-I don't like this lines.
    It is unique and very unusual love poem, which is great. It deserves 5/5.

    Absolutely beautiful!! another brilliant bit of poetry from yourself. I can totally relate to this poem, to find the perfect partner. Wouldn't that be a dream come true.
