Embrace You

I'm bleeding now
why can't they see?
There's someone else inside of me
He falls down hard, flat on his face
his "friends" treat him like a disgrace

I will not change, and why should you?
Why not rebel? look inside too.
They call kids like us today
vicious and cruel, we're not this way

We all draw in as we become more alone
so we be ourselves and nobody knows
We bleed on the inside, cry on the out
Their hatred of us, like a religion most devout

We sit in the dark and let the pain flow free
They wouldn't listen to "there's someone I've got to be"

Now do not hide inside your shells rise up my friends!
Our hands upheld, to all the things they do and say
We will not take it not today!
Open your heart and speak to say

"I free myself now and today!"
Embrace those that can't see the way
Embrace the hearts that are here to stay

But most of all, you all must see
Embrace You,
As I do me.
