I LOVED THIS POEM! This is amazing and just what I needed to read. I hope it gets a thousand comments and votes! Rarely does a poem impress me as much as this, but I think because I can relate it's why I love it so...your ending is inspiring and shows how you can move on. Beautiful!
The poem makes perfect sense to me and I think you did an amazing job, the word choice and flow were both awesome. Many teenage girls just want boys to like them, but they often try to hard and go to far for what they think they want. Amazing poem 5/5 GG23
Broken down and tainted; unwilling to love again,
Staggering in agony and drowning in lost hope.
Trying so hard to find the path they've lost,
Attempting with all energy left to cope.
^^^That stanza is amazing^^^
I can relate to this poem so much and I love the way you ended it. Somehow this touched me and made me think about things. Great work
Awww you poor thing. I know where you're coming from. I had one of my boyfriendspass away a couple months ago. I was so depressed for the longest time, and never thought I could love anyone ever again. And then this guy just showed up and we clicked. Just keep that chin up =) I'll be here if you ever wanna talk.
Anyhow...for the poem. It was great! I loved your emotion throughout it all. And yes, hun it does make sense. Very much so. At first, I thought it was better to go into the sad poems. And then I read to the end and I was all 'Awww' XD So ya, it definately belongs here. The word choice was wonderful. I wouldn't be able to choose better wording for it all. Great job. 5/5 xxoo
This poem caught my attention right away.. the flow was ok and the word choice was decent... i think the overall message was really strong.. the begining starts out strong and it ends strong but some lines inbetween didnt seem as thought throuugh... overall an easy read and nice read.. 4/5
I liked it, it definitely made sense. It started off on a negative note, explaining, in detail, why you [and others] found it hard to believe in love, to trust somebody, and to carry on with a relationship. But by the end of the poem, it was hopefully, happy even. I liked that a lot, showing that good things can come from being strong and hopeful, and from wishing.
