A Brick Wall

by C Cattaway   Jul 11, 2007

A brick wall..
I may as well be banging my head against a brick wall.
Am I the only person who can see a problem?
Am I the only one who sees longer term?
Am I the only person who cares?

A brick wall..
Talking to a wall seems to be my only option.
It seems that speaking to a brick wall is all I'm doing.
Am I wasting my time?
Am I wasting my energy?

A brick wall..
Can the wall see what I mean?
Am I the only person who thinks I make sense?
Am I the only person who sees the repercussions?
Am I the only person that thinks I'm right?

A brick wall..
I may as well bang my head a little longer,
As I'm the only person it seems to affect.
Am I the only person who it affects?
Am I the only person to bang my head against

A brick wall..?

I like how this was original and the continuous repitition of rheotorical questions was good.
however i felt that the word order in the sentences was a bit weird and was done to make it more "poemy."

some people like that, i like free verse. but everyone's different, still a good read.
    well done
