The Road of Destiny

by JC   Jul 15, 2007

I walk on down the dark dusty road,
To where I walk on, I don't even know.
Stretched far ahead so that I can't see,
Who I will end up with, or who I'll be.

I walk alone, down the slow windy road,
Where I go nobody will know.
For there is nobody to walk with me now,
But I will go for just the same and how.

Walking independently to the beat of my own stride,
Walking down the street with my head held high.
For no one shall matter, to me and so,
It will never matter for as long as I go.

The road awaits, and my destiny unfolds,
To my destination, where ever it may hold.
The stars guide my way, as they shine the light,
That leads me to fate, on the edge of the night.
