One Single Tear

one single tear
upon a rose of red
one single tear
is all that she would shed

he's buried deeply
in the cold ground
no more raping
or throwing her around

upon his cold grave
she placed that red rose
a small pretty smile
she now shows

licking the blood
from her pricked finger
no longer does
his shadow linger

she walks away slowly
her head held up high
that one single tear
is now totally dry

    Ummmm Wenchy....as Sunny would say
    "You smacked it!!" LOL Very powerful piece and can't find a favorite stanza because they were all perfectly written. Love it!!
