My Childish years

by eunice gonzalez   Jul 19, 2007

I started saying my first word,
Like the beginning of my life in this world.
The beginning of my happiness,
And the beginning of all my problems.
I know life would not be so easy,
So I took the chance to be free.
I took the risk to be a child,
And the those problems, I don't mind.
Step by step, I grew up,
Like a seed who is near to the top.
Saying goodbye to those childish years,
And saying hi to those coming tests and fears.
I am like a caterpillar,
Who is turning to a butterfly.
From being a cute baby,
Turning to a beautiful lady.
My childish years will always be remembered,
And will stay in my heart forever.
